PEVA is polyethylene-vinyl acetate, which is a blend of PE and EVA. It has good softness and a little elasticity. The higher the proportion of PE, the more difficult it is to handle. It is generally used for production membrane. The ratio of these two chemical substances can be adjusted to meet different application needs. The higher the content of vinyl acetate (VA content), the transparency, softness and toughness will be relatively improved.

PE = Polyethylene, polyethylene, is the simplest polymer organic compound, the most widely used polymer material in the world today, polymerized from ethylene, divided into high-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene according to different densities density polyethylene.
Low-density polyethylene is soft, and high-pressure polymerization is often used; high-density polyethylene has the characteristics of rigidity, hardness and mechanical strength, and low-pressure polymerization is mostly used. High-density polyethylene can be used as containers, pipes, and high-frequency electrical insulation materials for radar and television. Low-density (high-pressure) polyethylene is often used in large quantities. Polyethylene is waxy and smooth like wax. When not dyed, low-density polyethylene is transparent, while high-density polyethylene is opaque. Polyethylene is a highly polymerized chain connected by repeating –CH2 – units through the addition reaction and polymerization of ethylene (CH2=CH2). The performance of polyethylene depends on its polymerization method; high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is obtained by Ziegler-Natta polymerization under medium pressure (15-30 atmospheres) organic compound catalyzed conditions. Polyethylene molecules polymerized under this condition are linear, and the molecular chains are very long, with a molecular weight of up to hundreds of thousands. If it is free radical polymerization under high pressure (100-300MPa), high temperature (190-210C), peroxide catalyzed conditions, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is produced, which has a branched structure.
Polyethylene is insoluble in water and has very little water absorption. Even for some chemical solvents, such as toluene and acetic acid, it is only slightly dissolved at a temperature above 70 °C. However, particulate polyethylene can melt or solidify with temperature changes between 15°C and 40°C. When the temperature rises, it melts and absorbs heat; when the temperature decreases, it solidifies and releases heat. And because it has a small water absorption, it is not easy to get wet and has insulating properties. Therefore, it is a good building material.
